Blogathon 2005 is a massive fund-raising event where bloggers like myself blog to raise money for a charity of their choice.

This year's Blogathon will take place on August 6, 2005 at 9 a.m. Eastern Time for 24 hours.

Bloggers are required to post at least once every 30 minutes during that 24 hour period.

Dena will be blogging this year to raise funds for Childhelp USA.

If you'd like to help support this effort, you'll first need to register on the Blogathon site when signups become available on July 20. You'll then look for a link that says "sponsor a blogger". Once there you'll see blogger 'shore' and 'Life Imitates Net'. Dena will contact you at the end of the event with instructions on how to submit your donation.

I'll have some more information here soon about Childhelp USA and why I selected them as this year's charity.
